
The Ibero-American Foundation for Neuro-Otology held its meeting in Buenos Aires from 5 to 7 May, during which it paid tribute to the career of Prof. Sérgio Carmona.
The event was attended by prestigious international speakers such as Prof. David Zee, David Newman-Toker, Michael Strupp, Jorge Katah, Zuma and Maia, Renato Cal, Nicolás Pérez, Susan Whitney and Michael Schubert, amongst others, including the Portuguese speakers Rosmaninho Seabra and João Lemos. Current topics were discussed, such as BPPV, central positional nystagmus, vestibular migraine and Meniere’s disease, PPPD and central vestibular pathology, with the presentation of new studies and highly promising research projects within the field of otoneurology.
It also featured poster presentations and a practical session on the final day.
