The 1st Scientific Conference / Natus&Acusis Masterclass took place, featuring several guest speakers, including Portuguese experts (Dr Sandra Costa, Dr Pedro Araújo, Dr João Laranjeiro and Prof. Pedro Marques) and one international guest, Prof. Nicolás Pérez (Madrid).
They discussed the anatomical and physiological basis of the vestibulo-ocular reflex, and the technical aspects of conducting and interpreting the vHIT, including presentations of real clinical cases, as well as round-table discussions on the “Barany Society’s” criteria and guidelines for vestibular diagnosis.
The conference also included a significant practical component, with two workshops on ICS Impulse and posturography using virtual reality (Virtualis).
