Alain Semont was one of the world’s leading authorities in the field of otoneurology and a pioneer in vestibular rehabilitation. He became known for developing the liberating manoeuvre for the treatment of BPPV, known as the Semont manoeuvre.
He contributed on several occasions to training courses in Portugal. The APO management extends its condolences to his family and friends.
