46. Tullio ́s Phenomenon in Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscense

Resumo

In 1929, Professor Pietro Tullio described for the first time the occurrence of dizziness induced by intense noise in a specific group of patients. Later, this finding is known as Tullio ́s phenomenon and is almost exclusively linked to the Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscense Syndrome. This newly described disease has an unclear physiopathology and is not well known by most physicians.
