Summary

Movements of the body and visual targets trigger reflexes that aim to stabilise gaze and posture. To this end, they give rise to two main types of movement – eye movements and postural adjustments. The reflexes responsible for eye movements are the most widely studied in Functional Exploration and will be analysed in this paper.
