The Tivoli Hotel in Carvoeiro hosted the APO Congress. Of particular note were the lectures given by Professors C. Conraux, Torcuato Labella, Herminio Perez and Francisco Zuma e Maia.
Dr Vaz Garcia was honoured as Honorary President of the Congress.
Dr Rosmaninho Seabra was sworn in as President of the Association for the 2010–2013 term.
