Tinnitus

At the Curia, organised by Dr Rosa Castillo, the APO’s 3rd Winter Meeting took place on 12 February, focusing on the topic of tinnitus.

The programme included:

• Anatomy and Physiology;
• Central Auditory Processing;
• Aetiopathogenesis: TRT;
• Aetiopathogenesis – Common final pathway;
• Further tests;
• Differential Diagnosis;
• Hyperacusis; Pharmacotherapy and Habituation Therapy.

The speakers were Dr Nuno Trigueiros, Dr Haula Haider, Dr Rosmaninho Seabra, Dr Margarida Vargas, Dr Rosa Castillo, Dr Margarida Amorim and Dr Rui Nunes.
