Portuguese Association of Otoneurology

September 2021

Nuno Trigueiros
President of the APO

Dear friends,

At last, and thankfully, we’ll be able to be together again.
On 8 and 9 October, Otoneuro 2021 will take place in Tomar, where we look forward to meeting APO members and anyone with an interest in otoneurology.
We are delighted to welcome two highly distinguished guests, Prof. Herman Kingma, Honorary President of the congress, and Prof. Michael Strupp, who promise to deliver high-quality presentations and lead lively discussions on a range of otoneurological topics.
Furthermore, the opening round-table discussion promises to be highly controversial, as the topic will be “Controversies in Ménière’s Disease” and the participants are exceptional.
We will also be hosting three keynote lectures, on the topics of “Vestibular Rehabilitation”, “Otoneurological Symptoms in Multiple Sclerosis” and “Cochlear Implants in Ménière’s Disease”.
I would like to take this opportunity to urge APO members to attend the general meeting to be held on the afternoon of 8 October, so that they can contribute to the future of the association.
It is a privilege for the APO management to be able to present such an interesting programme, and we look forward to seeing you there, whilst complying with the safety rules laid down by the DGS.

Kind regards,
