Dear Colleagues,
Once again, we are to hold the Annual Otoneurology Congress. This year, the chosen venue is Peniche, where we believe the conditions are right for a peaceful gathering that will foster scientific enrichment.
Our main focus is always the scientific programme, and so, over the course of two days, various speakers will address current topics in otoneurology. The programme includes a round-table discussion on vestibular migraine – a topic discussed at this year’s Winter Meeting – as well as lectures and a post-conference course on the ‘Clinical Management of Patients with Vertigo’.
As in previous years, in addition to our national guests, we will also be welcoming leading international guests, some of whom are already acquaintances and friends of ours, such as Professors Herminio Pérez Garrigues and Nicolás Pérez, and Professor David Zee, who will be attending our conference for the first time.
We also wish to provide an opportunity to showcase national scientific activity through the presentation of oral papers and posters.
We believe that the conditions are in place for this congress, with everyone’s contribution, to serve as a forum for debate and the exchange of experiences that will advance Portuguese otoneurology, and for our knowledge as doctors to translate into better healthcare for our population.
I would like to invite you to take part, and it will be a privilege to welcome you to Peniche. Your participation is essential to making this Congress a worthwhile experience and to reinforcing our commitment to promoting otoneurology.
See you in Peniche!
We’re counting on you,
