Dear Colleagues,
Our Annual Conference is fast approaching and will take place on 19 and 20 May at the Hotel Lago in Montargil.
We have sought to include topics of interest not only to Otorhinolaryngology, but also to Neurology and Imaging, given that Otoneurology is both a specialised field and one that cuts across various specialities.
Particular attention is paid to training, which ranges from e-learning to talks on how to build a career.
Topics ranging from skull base pathology to gait disorders will also be covered, including imaging and positional vertigo – a subject that was discussed in detail at the winter meeting held in February this year.
Our international guests will include Drs. Francisco Zuma and Maia, who will present a new manoeuvre for the treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo of the horizontal canal; Dr Herminio Pérez Garrigues, who will speak to us about vibratory nystagmus; Prof. Dr Michel Lacour, who will speak to us about vestibular compensation; and Dr Miguel Aristegui, who will take part in the round-table discussion on the treatment of skull base disorders.
This is yet another way we’ve found to spark your interest in a field that is “very dear” to us, and where we can share knowledge through a process of continuous, mutual learning. .
