A new cycle has begun at APO. In accordance with the articles of association, the governing bodies are renewed every three years.
The new members of the Executive Committee, General Assembly and Audit Committee have been elected; together with me, they have accepted the challenge of continuing the work of APO and, if possible, improving its capacity for outreach and training on the topics that matter to us.
I hope that, under the Board of Directors – which I have the pleasure of chairing – we will be able to continue the activities implemented by previous Boards. I would like to express my gratitude to those who came before us for the effort they devoted to the Portuguese Association of Otoneurology.
My aim is to achieve new goals, particularly with regard to encouraging people other than almost exclusively ENT specialists to take part in our activities.
I am counting on the commitment of everyone who agreed to stand and gave me the pleasure of putting together the list that I presented and which was voted through. My first thanks go to them.
