Vertigo Day took place on 22 April 2023 in the town of Caldas da Rainha.
This event benefited from the invaluable presence and guidance of Prof. Herman Kingma, who for several years has honoured the Association with brilliant presentations, living up to his reputation as a great communicator, recognised internationally.
The day took a pragmatic and straightforward approach to vestibular pathology, covering its various aspects, including pathophysiology, clinical history, physical examination and an update on the latest options in vestibular rehabilitation, such as the balance belt and cochleovestibular implants. The day was further complemented by a strong practical and interactive component.
This was yet another of the training initiatives organised by the APO, which aims to contribute to the development, training and learning of junior colleagues, trainees and all those seeking knowledge in the field of otoneurology.
