The APO’s Annual Meeting took place at the Hotel dos Salgados (Albufeira) on 20–21 June, with Dr Pedro Araújo acting as the main organiser.
The programme featured Professor Regis Nouvian as its international guest. Dr Gabão Veiga, Honorary President of the Congress, was the guest of honour.
A satellite symposium, organised by Prof. Dr Leonel Luís, with contributions from Prof. Dr João Lemos, and Professors Sergio Carmona, Francisco Zuma e Maia and Dário Yacovino, took place on the final afternoon.
